Armenische Schule Zürich (ASZ) was founded in September 2021 and it is an association according to ZGB Article 60ff. Our goal is to create an Armenian-speaking environment, where children can enhance their knowledge in the Armenian language and culture.

We are currently located at Wegackerstrasse 42, 8041 Zürich, in one of the buildings of Zürich-Leimbach Reformed Church. Our school hours are Sundays, 11:30 – 13:15, except during school holidays (we abide by Zürich city public school schedule).

We offer beginner and intermediate classes for children in kindergarten and elementary school (grades 1 – 6); currently offered in Eastern Armenian language. With continuous demand and expansion of our school we also plan to offer Western Armenian language classes in the future. Children of other ages are also welcome; please contact the school.

The Armenian language and culture are taught not only in the classroom, but also through learning and understanding history, literature, music, dance, games, social events, etc. We always try to keep our classes interesting – create new and fun methods and organize events, such as our summer graduation and holiday parties.

Our school and its staff try their best to create an exciting atmosphere, and the children really look forward to seeing each other every Sunday.
