Beginner and Intermediate Levels
At Armenische Schule Zürich we are dedicated in creating an Armenian-speaking environment, where children come to learn and improve their language knowledge and interest in the Armenian culture. Our school and its staff try their best to create a fun environment, and the children look forward to seeing each other every Sunday.
We offer beginner and intermediate classes for children in kindergarten and elementary school (grades 1 – 6); currently offered in Eastern Armenian language. With continuous demand and expansion of our school we also plan to offer Western Armenian language classes in the future. Children of other ages are also welcome; please contact the school.
Our school hours are Sundays, 11:30 – 13:15, except during school holidays (we abide by Zürich city public school schedule). We meet at 11:25 before the start of classes to sing the anthem.
Typical Class Schedule
- 11:30 – 12:15 – Language Class (individual levels)
- 12:15 – 12:30 – Pause (snack time)
- 12:30 – 13:15 – Culture Class (all levels, except kindergarten group, which continues with their class.)

Language
We learn, we speak, we write, we read, we play word games and puzzles to help improve the language skills. Come and learn with us!
Grammar
Knowing how to speak and write correctly is just as important for improving the language. In intermediate classes children learn the grammar basics.
Cultural Education
Keeping the language and traditions alive helps us preserve the heritage of Armenian culture, history, literature and religion.
